Home Farm Public Meeting

Councillors Mike Day and Cheryl Philpott have called a public meeting of the community to discuss the Labour Council's plan to build 42 houses in Singleton Park, at the Home Farm site. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss how the community will respond to the plans, for example setting up an action committee.

Councillor Day said, “we must act together to stop any building taking place in our park.”

Councillor Philpott added, “too much of the park has been given away already, we must retain the rest for future generations to enjoy as we have".
