More money for local play areas in Sketty thanks to the Lib Dems councillors.
Families with young children will know how important it is to have good quality play areas locally, especially in recent months.
Money is going to improve the various play areas around Sketty. Cllrs Mike Day and Cheryl Philpott will be funding some of these developments from their community budget. Grosvenor Heights and Parry’s Park will be having some new equipment in the coming months. This is on top of the money they have put towards the Cory Street and Ynys Newydd improvements. Other schemes are being funded by other councillors, using money given by the Council
Welcoming the money for the play areas Local Sketty Campaigner James McGettrick said: "This is very welcome news. As your local Liberal Democrat team, we want to get the basics right. We want to keep Sketty a great place for children to live and grow up in. Our councillors will always work to get the investment that Sketty needs."
The Liberal Democrat Sketty councillors and campaign team look forward to seeing the work on the play parks and will keep the community up to date with progress.
