The Labour Council have recently confirmed plans to build on the Slipway, refusing to listen to residents.
Following public questions on the Slipway Green, the Labour Cabinet member even highlighted that residents had previously moved to protect this space, through a village green.
Labour argue that because the green is designated for development in the local plan then it has to be built on. But it belongs to the council and as landowner they have it in their power to keep it as it is for residents. Why won't they listen?
